    Abstract:

    The film Rice Rhapsody is:

A multi-award winning dramatic comedy about a single mother, Jen, and her three sons living in Singapore. As if running a Hainan chicken rice restaurant and taking care of three boys are not enough work, Jen arranges to take in a female French exchange student, Sabine (18), when she notices that her youngest son, Leo (17), is not showing any interest in girls. The humorous and heart-warming story takes a dramatic turn when the young French girl enters their lives and overturns their traditional values.
