As an accomplished athlete in endurance sports, Adrian Mok has represented Singapore for triathlon on a national level. His best achievements include running marathons among the top local men's category and winning the age-group in triathlons. In 2002, he was part of the team in Singapore who attempted the Eco Challenge in Fiji, which is commonly known as the toughest race on Earth. His accolades of ultra endurance attempt include representing Singapore for the Ironman World Championship in Kona, Hawaii in 2004, and running a 168km route around Singapore. Despite his hectic schedule, he continues to find time walking his talk.
As an entrepreneur, Adrian is the founder of a local sports outfit, Hivelocity, which introduces several sporting concepts and events into Singapore. Overcoming many challenges, he is also the person who has brought Aviva Ironman 70.3 into Singapore — one of the most spectacular sports events that is staged in the city.
Adrian also conceptualised the first night marathon in Singapore in 2008. The Sundown Marathon has received positive reviews success from participants and the event is into its 10th year, hosting 30,000 participants. Literally walking his talk, Adrian speaks with deep passion on sports.
