World Scientific congratulates our author, Giorgio Parisi, who has been awarded the 2021 Nobel Prize in Physics.

Giorgio Parisi was awarded one half of the Prize "for the discovery of the interplay of disorder and fluctuations in physical systems from atomic to planetary scales", with the other half jointly awarded to Syukuro Manabe and Klaus Hasselmann "for the physical modelling of Earth's climate, quantifying variability and reliably predicting global warming"

World Scientific has published many of Professor Parisi's works, including a collection of his selected papers titled Field Theory, Disorder and Simulations. A new book co-edited by him, titled Spin Glass Theory and Far Beyond, is now under preparation. In addition, he has authored research across World Scientific's portfolio of journals.
