MEASUREMENT UNCERTAINTY CALCULATION USING MUSE A SOFTWARE PROJECT TO SUPPORT THE MEASUREMENT COMMUNITY WITH A FREELY AVAILABLE IMPLEMENTATION OF GUM SUPPLEMENT 1
MUSE (Measurement Uncertainty Simulation and Evaluation) is a software tool for the calculation of measurement uncertainty based on the Monte Carlo method (MCM) as recommended by the first supplement to the GUM (GS1). It is shown here how a simple example can be implemented in the application language of MUSE. An overview of the possible parameters that can be set is given.
