MARSHALL W. NIRENBERG
Marshall Warren Nirenberg (b. 1927) is Chief of the Laboratory of Biochemical Genetics, National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute, National Institutes of Health (NIH) in Bethesda, Maryland. He received his B.S. degree in zoology and chemistry in 1948 and his M.S. degree in zoology in 1952, both from the University of Florida, and his Ph.D. degree from the University of Michigan in 1957.
