CLUSTER-BASED SECURITY MECHANISM FOR SENSOR NETWORK COMMUNICATION

Security is a major concern in sensor networks, and key establishment is the basic element for secure communication. In this paper, we propose new pairwise key establishment mechanism based on clustering and polynomial sharing, and we also propose new authentication mechanism. Through analysis, we show that our key establishment mechanism achieves good performance, and our proposed authentication mechanism provides unicast and broadcast authentication.
