      Abstract:

Thermal properties are the responses of a material to the application of heat. Thermal properties include heat capacity, thermal conductivity and thermal expansion. They are strongly influenced by the atomic vibration in the materials and in the case of thermal conductivity, are also affected by the electronic properties of materials. Thermoelectric properties deal with thermally induced electrical properties, which are also influenced by the electronic structures of the materials.
