    Abstract:

To study the adhesion of absorbent resin, sodium polyacrylate/ diatomite composite was prepared by the aqueous solution polymerization with the main materials acrylic acid and diatomite, crosslinking agent and initiator. FT-IR was used to analyze the molecular structure of composite resin and it was also discussed the effect of the factors such as the neutralization degree, monomer concentration, the amount of initiator, crosslinking agent and the diatomite on adhesion properties.
