    Abstract:

In this paper, the hovercraft model is studied. The relationship between pressure of balloon and its elongation is studied with continuum mechanics model of rubber. The lifting force of hovercraft, which comes from the pressure difference between two sides of the disk is solved by calculating the pressure distribution using Navier-Stokes equation. The parameters affecting floating time of the system are also investigated.
