PART III: DISCUSSION

In Chapter 11, this section of the book provides an analysis of the experience of the eight countries in the OECD that introduced landmark legislative health care financing reforms to achieve universal access to health care that were examined in this volume in Chapter 12, it provides an evaluation of the performance of these countries in achieving various health care policy and health financing targets through this reform using a Performance Evaluation Log-frame and in Chapter 13, it provides a summary of lessons learned that may be useful to other countries attempting similar reforms.
