Simulation and Performance Analysis for Upper Legform to WAD 775 mm Test

    Abstract:

    This paper introduces the upper legform to WAD775mm test protocol, rating protocol and performance development strategies. Taking a real vehicle as an example, an upper legform to WAD775mm finite element model is established by Hyper-mesh. From the perspective of the component structure optimization, some suggestions are proposed to increase the absorption of impact energy. After analysis, the test score improves from 2.963 to 6.000 points.
