N = 2 SUPERSYMMETRIC NON-CRITICAL STRINGS

Non-critical strings with local N = 2 world-sheet supersymmetry are examined. The corresponding Liouville action, as well as the string susceptibility exponent and the scaling dimensions of all dressed chiral operators are unambiguously determined at the classical level. We also discuss the possibility of defining new “exotic” N = 2 string theories above their critical dimension D_crit = 2.
