    Abstract:

    This paper presents a new approach for the analysis of local stability in online signature. Conversely to previous approaches in the literature, the analysis of stability is here performed by considering the characteristics of the processes underlying signature generation. For this purpose, the Sigma-Lognormal model developed in the context of the kinematic theory of rapid human movements is considered.
