The Combination of Audience Response System and Network-Aided Teaching Platform

With the development of information technology and the popularity of internet, network aided teaching has been widely applied in colleges and universities. Moreover, audience response system, which allows instructors to ask questions and immediately obtain responses from students through response devices, has also been widely adopted in higher education. In this paper, we suggest that the conventional face to face tutoring should be combined with the audience response systems and the network aided teaching technologies, so that the teaching efficiency can be improved, the teacher-student interaction could be promoted and the performance of the student could be comprehensively evaluated.
