IS THERE A QCD “SPIN CRISIS”?

    A suitable extension of the Goldberger Treiman relation for the singlet axial current is proved, within the standard QCD resolution of the U(1) problem. No appeal is made to large NC or quenched approximations. Implications for the so-called “spin crisis” are discussed.
