Abstract
The rare decay H→μ+μ−γ is an interesting and characteristic process, which is starting to become experimentally accessible at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) and the upcoming high-luminosity LHC. In this note, we consider the resonant contributions of the new gauge boson Z′ to the rare decay H→μ+μ−γ in the framework of the minimal U(1)Lμ−Lτ model. Its differential decay rate and decay width are calculated. Our numerical results show that the new gauge boson Z′ can generate smaller contributions to this decay process.
