QUASIPARTICLE SPECTRAL WEIGHT OF KINETIC ENERGY DRIVEN D-WAVE SUPERCONDUCTORS
Abstract
Within the kinetic energy driven superconducting mechanism, we study the superconducting quasiparticle spectral weight of cuprate superconductors. It is shown that although the spectral weight is continuous along the high symmetry directions, the overall spectral weight is reduced by the strong electron correlation in cuprate superconductors.
