A NEW METHOD TO DETECT COHERENCE LENGTH IN A SUPERCONDUCTOR

The coherence length ξ, which reflects the non-local interactions and ordering scale of superconductive electrons, is one of the characteristic quantities that describe properties of a superconductor. In this paper, we propose a new experiment scheme of measuring coherence length ξ in a superconductor after analyzing the (Josephson) tunneling effects with the junctions' thickness d <ξ, d > ξ and d ~ ξ, respectively.
