Abstract

I discuss the fine-tuning of the nuclear forces and in the formation of nuclei in the production of the elements in the Big Bang and in stars.

Based on a plenary talk presented at the Seventh International Symposium on Chiral Symmetry in Hadrons and Nuclei, Beijing, China, 27–30 October 2013.
