Chapter 22: Eric Goles: Systems, Art and CONICYT

Professor Goles (full name: Eric Antonio Goles Chacc) obtained a Degree in Engineering from the University of Chile, a PhD in Computer Science and the Docteur d'État (Mathematics) from the University of Grenoble; he also studied philosophy for two years at the Catholic University in Santiago. After being a CNRS researcher in France for six years, he returned to Chile as Professor and Director of the National Centre for Mathematical Modelling at the University of Chile.
