Charles Weissmann (b. 1931) is Senior Research Scientist at the Medical Research Council (MRC) Neurogenetics Unit, St. Mary's Hospital in London and Professor Emeritus of the University of Zürich. He received his schooling in Zürich, earning his MD in 1956 and Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry in 1961 from the University of Zürich.
