    Abstract:

Establishing a precise multi-dimensional imaging of quarks and gluons inside nucleons is one of the primary goals of the Electron Ion Collider project. I will present a personal choice of recent developments in the phenomenological mapping of the momentum space structure of the nucleon, through the studies of transverse momentum dependent parton distributions, with special focus on the polarized cases, where correlations between spin and partonic momenta are more relevant.
