BARYONS

    Abstract:

The properties of baryons can be computed in a systematic expansion in 1/Nc, making use of an SU(2NF) spin-flavor symmetry that is exact at Nc = ∞, and the structure of the symmetry-breaking 1/Nc corrections. This talk reviews the applications of the 1/Nc expansion to baryons. Recent results on the 1/Nc expansion to exotic baryons are also presented.
