COMPREHENSIVE MODELS FOR WELLS

The aim of this paper is to present various mathematical models for wells. Special attention is paid to a non-standard description using nonlocal boundary conditions (BCs). We also develop numerical algorithms to handle nonlocal BCs. The choice of the appropriate model depends, of course, on concrete situation.
