Implications of texture specific mass matrices for fermion mixing phenomena

Texture specific mass matrices have been investigated in the context of quark mixing phenomenon. In particular, the implications of texture 4 zero mass matrices have been studied for CKM phenomenology as well as for element U_e3 of the neutrino mixing matrix.
