Abstract:

With computers taking over many of the tedious tasks, matrix methods are becoming increasingly more popular in solving problems of interest. In this chapter, we shall be mainly concerned with some of the basic numerical calculations involving matrices. Later, we shall apply some of the techniques described here to solve other problems, such as differential equations.
