    Abstract:

    Gynaecological emergencies, associated with haemorrhage, torsion or sepsis, may present as acute abdomen. They include:

    1. Ectopic pregnancy

    2. Ruptured tubo-ovarian abscess, and

    3. Bleeding ovarian cysts and adnexal torsion
