Higher Twist Contributions to Structure Functions at Small x and Low Q²

We discuss the status of twist-four corrections to the deep inelastic structure fuction F₂ at small x and small Q². First numerical results are presented which are based upon the double logarithmic approximation of the coupled twist-four evolution equations of those gluonic twist-four operators that dominate at small x.
