    Abstract:

    This chapter discusses how the growing demand for paperless processes in enterprise and government is pushing the development and widespread uptake of innovative technologies, with a strong focus on biometric signatures and new consumer devices. Two case studies explain the benefits of using biometric signatures in a business context.
