Abstract:

It has been six years since my last days in Singapore and almost ten years since my first days in it, a country known by the symbolic name of the Lion City. I perused The Little Red Dot for a long time while I was writing the book called Singapore: Challenges and Solutions in Vietnamese. This book was published six years ago and needs to be updated; however, I have been too busy to keep the information in the book up-to-date. Contributing an essay to The Little Red Dot Volume III is, therefore, a challenge due to the lack of information, particularly updates on Singapore–Vietnam relations. Thus it seems a good choice to write about my personal experience…
