Instructional Design of Cultural Arts and Crafts Program for Atayal High School in Taiwan
Through a three-way collaboration between an Atayal community high school, a community society and the research team, this study adopted the five-stage model of ADDIE instructional design for conducting the analysis, design, development, implement and evaluation of an Atayal cultural arts and crafts program. The 21 high school seniors who participated in the program completed works of Atayal cultural arts and crafts, such as strings of millet beads, Atayal woven fabric, flip-flops, leather carving and ramie key rings. We hope this study may become a reference for the instructional designs of humanities and social sciences for other tribes.
