Preparation and Characterization of Ordered Nano Multilayer of Synthesized Porphines-ZnTPP and TPETPP
Synthetic porphyrins without long alkyi chains were used for forming monolayers and multilayers on substrates. The transmission electron micrographs (TEM), surface Pressure-area isotherms (Pi-A)isotherm, Spectral study and fluorescence lifetime measurement revealed the stable condensed films with measured molecular areas compatible with a vertical or tilted orientation of these molecules on the substrate, and the formation of aggregates as the main species in these films. The behavior for films of porphyrin mixed with stearic acid (SA) and arachidic acid (AA) was also studied.
