      Abstract:

      In the present chapter, we are again concerned with an arbitrary real pre-symplectic space (E, σ), which describes — as the so-called “test function space” — the degrees of freedom of a physical system. The number of degrees of freedom is the cardinality of a (real) basis of E, divided by two.
