Chiral Lagrangian and chiral quark model from confinement in QCD
Abstract
The effective chiral Lagrangian in both nonlocal form LECCL and standard local form LECL, derived in the vacuum correlator formalism in QCD, is studied in the chiral perturbation theory. It is shown, that all coefficients of LECL can be computed via qˉq Green’s functions. In the p2 order of LECL one obtains GOR relations and quark decay constants fa are calculated a=1,…,8, while in the p4 order the coefficients L1, L2, L3, L4, L5, L6 are obtained in good agreement with the values given by data. The chiral quark model is shown to be a simple consequence of LECCL with defined coefficients. It is demonstrated that LECCL gives an extension of the limiting low-energy Lagrangian LECL to arbitrary momenta.
