Abstract

Making use of a vector-dominance model for the nucleon electromagnetic form factors, we investigate the consequences for the calculation of the inclusive electromagnetic response (in the quasielastic domain) of recent suggestions that mesonic mass parameters are modified in a nuclear medium.
