HIGHER-ORDER EXTENSIONS OF THE POINCARÉ ALGEBRA
Abstract
Cubic extensions of the Poincaré algebra can be constructed in consistency with physical assumptions, and provide new insights for the description of phenomena. In this paper we review some recent results associated to these structures: algebraic construction, construction of invariant Lagrangians and construction of their associated group.
