Data taking for the KLOE experiment at the DAΦNE ϕ factory was completed in 2005, with the acquisition of ~2.5 fb-1 of luminosity integrated at the ϕ peak. From the analysis of a ~ 400-pb-1 subsample, by far the most precise test of the validity of the time evolution of kaon pairs predicted by quantum mechanics has been obtained. Moreover, the sensitivity to possible violations of the CPT symmetry has been sizeably improved by exploiting the unitarity relation while including recent results from the KLOE experiment. Perspectives on results that will be obtained from the analysis of the final data set are briefly discussed.
