Towards a Network Approach: Trends in China's Logistics Industry
Preview AbstractFrom an analysis of how the logistics industry has evolved in China, this article puts forth a new concept of “logistics organizational network”. Based on analyses from socio-economic aspects, characteristics of logistics service and demand, and reforms in the regulatory framework for logistics management, this article concludes that future developments in the logistics industry will necessarily adopt a network-based approach.
