Special Issue on Operations Research and Optimization

Aims and Scope: This special issue considers high quality papers that address and extend the important research areas in Operations Research and Optimization (ORO). Novel applications as well as survey papers on ORO research streams are also welcomed. The main theme of the special issue is highlighting new research frontiers in the area.

Important Notes

  1. Selected extended-abstracts presented in the International Conference on Operations Research and Optimization 2011 (ORO2011) will be considered as potential full-paper publications in this special issue subject to peer reviews.
  2. The special issue is open to everyone and submissions from authors who did not participant the conference are also welcomed.
  3. Submitted paper will be refereed with the same standards as leading international journals. The main criteria for acceptance are the quality and originality of the contribution, and its relevance to the topics of ORO2011.
  4. Submitted papers should not have been previously published nor be currently under consideration for publication elsewhere.

All manuscripts should be submitted online at submission system, Editorial Manager (EM), of International Journal of Information Technology & Decision Making (IJITDM): http://www.editorialmanager.com/ijitdm/.

When submitting the manuscript please select the "Special Issue Paper" as article type, and also select "Special Issue on Operations Research and Optimization" as Section/Category.

Registration deadline in ORO2011: December 5, 2010
Extended-abstract submission deadline: November 20, 2010
Notification of abstract acceptance: November 30, 2010
The conference: January 26-28, 2011
Submission deadline for the special issue: May 31, 2011
Termination of the editorial work on the special issue: May 31, 2012
