Call for Papers
Special Issues of Fluctuation and Noise Letters
The Editors welcome proposals for FNL Special Issues devoted to particular topics. They will be relatively few in number (up to 2 per year) and should normally fulfil the following criteria –
- A topic lying within the scope of the journal: FNL Aims and Scope (worldscientific.com).
- A realistic expectation of typically 6-10 high quality papers, including some from invited authors.
- Guest editors who are established scientists within the relevant sub-field.
- Application of the usual quality criteria in editorial processing, with at least 2 independent reviewers per paper.
Proposers of SIs should download and complete this form and e-mail it to the Editor-in-Chief (p.v.e.mcclintock@lancaster.ac.uk) and will be considered by relevant members of the FNL Editorial Board.
The Editors will consider proposals very carefully and, where approved, may seek to negotiate a modified timescale to fit in with the journal’s publishing schedule.
