Special Issue on Rings, Algebras and Modules

The Special Issue will be dedicated to the memory of Professor S. Tariq Rizvi.

Deadline: April 15, 2025

Submission Guideline:
An ad-hoc committee consisting of:
Nguyen Viet Dung,
Franco Guerriero,
Sergio R. López-Permouth,
Cosmin Roman
M.F. Yousif
will oversee submissions.

However, all submissions should be initially routed through M.F. Yousif, as explained below.

In order for your submission to be considered for this special issue, please submit it to JAA through its online submission system. Please select this special issue under Section/Category. When asked to choose an editor, please choose M.F. Yousif. Professor Yousif will then pass the paper to an appropriate member of the editing committee.

Your paper should include a dedication to Professor Rizvi as a subtitle, that dedication will guarantee that your paper is considered not only for publication in JAA but specifically for inclusion in the special Rizvi memorial issue. All submissions will be subject to refereeing according to the standards established by JAA.

Because of the limitations of space inherent in dedicating exactly one issue to the memorial issue, it may be the case that some papers are deemed worthy of publication in JAA but may exceed the capacity of that issue. Such papers will still be accepted to the journal and will appear in a regular issue soon after the publication of the Rizvi memorial issue and will continue to bear the dedication to Professor Rizvi. Similarly, papers that fall behind schedule in the process of consideration might also be left out of the special issue but still appear at a later time in a regular issue of JAA.

To be considered for inclusion in the Rizvi issue, your paper should be submitted no later than April 15, 2025.

In addition, we would like to mention that JAA has been working on an initiative to reprint some of its special issues as stand-alone volumes which can be purchased by the public separately from the journal subscription. If that decision is made for our special issue and your paper appears in that issue, you will be contacted by WSP (World Scientific Publishing) to get your permission to also publish your paper in that way.
