Eugene S. Acevedo is the president and CEO of Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation (RCBC), one of the largest banks in the Philippines, and he is renowned for his leadership in digital banking and transformation. With years of experience at Citibank, Acevedo held significant roles including Managing Director and Head of Global Markets for Hong Kong and Taiwan and Head of Asia Derivatives Structuring and Sales in Singapore. His career also includes a pivotal tenure as President and CEO of the Philippine National Bank. Acevedo is a recognized leader and innovator in banking, known for his mentorship and commitment to advancing digital strategies. He graduated magna cum laude from the University of San Carlos, completed his MBA at the Asian Institute of Management, and pursued the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School. |
