Aims & Scope

The International Journal of Energy and Statistics (IJES) is the official publication of the Institute for International Energy Studies, aiming to promote and contribute to the research in all aspects of energy, from a qualitative and quantitative perspective. It is a multi-disciplinary journal covering research in energy (including, but not limited to, resources, applications and services, regulation, policy, sustainability, maintenance, renewable energy, and technology) from a statistical perspective, covering both applications and theoretical developments, for testing or proving hypothesis. Articles with novel contributions to statistics with applications related to energy are strongly encouraged.

Citations

The citations per article for IJES, Volume 1 (4 issues), based on CrossRef is at 2.3. Following the completion of the first year we are pleased to have published quality journal articles from academics and researchers around the world and thereby remained true to the 'International' coverage promised through this unique journal.

Review Process

The editors are pleased to inform that the turnaround time for the first decision on a manuscript throughout the first year has been 28 days on average. To avoid unnecessary delays, submitted papers may be returned to the author before full review if the editors deem it is outside the scope of IJES.

Submissions

Authors interested in submitting articles to IJES are advised to use the LaTeX or MS Word journal formats which are available for download on the IJES homepage. Furthermore, it is a requirement that authors submit all evidence required for replication (including computer programs and data sets) in support of the claims and results presented in their articles.
