We present a precise definition of a conserved quantity from an arbitrary covariantly conserved current available in a general curved space–time with Killing vectors. This definition enables us to define energy and momentum for matter by the volume integral. As a result we can compute charges of Schwarzschild and BTZ black holes by the volume integration of a delta function singularity. Employing the definition we also compute the total energy of a static compact star. It contains both the gravitational mass known as the Misner–Sharp mass in the Oppenheimer–Volkoff equation and the gravitational binding energy. We show that the gravitational binding energy has the negative contribution at maximum by 68% of the gravitational mass in the case of a constant density. We finally comment on a definition of generators associated with a vector field on a general curved manifold.

A limiting algebraic resonance seems to recuperate the pseudo-scalar Higgs from the simultaneous breaking process. On an energy kernel consideration, an imposed nonharmonic boundary exclusion provides a basis for the scaling (proved derived from the conformal classes) of its extending as radiative correction diagrams, plus whose anomalies eliminate upon reaching geometrically a type of steep power as linked to, completely from the curvature.

A CP violating form, then shows after the appearance of both a parity, plus a polarization defiance, together with the Higgs decoupled to the favor of the equivalence class for a scalar coupling, leading to the types of allowed UV fixed points, with the possible fading of some of its parametric resonances (tachyon) by quantum corrections, into then the estimation of consecutive QCD and fuzzy axion masses by taking into account that their interaction (dimensional) operators such which have the completeness, both of metric and/or gauge types, being so then, first with KSVZ (showing as being resonant along with sterile neutrinos) and DFS types or second with creation of an axion soliton. The fit into the phenomenological constraints is also checked.

We give a canonical Hamiltonian analysis of Podolsky’s generalized electrodynamics by introducing two sets of new variables which help us transform the Lagrangian into an equivalent first-order formalism. After eliminating the unphysical sector, we calculate the physical degrees of freedom of the higher derivative system and obtain the Dirac brackets in the reduced phase space. Then with the aid of the first-class constraints, we construct the independent gauge generator which is closely connected with the BRST charge and the BRST-invariant Hamiltonian. Finally, by choosing appropriate gauge-fixing fermion, we evaluate the path integral of this higher derivative constrained system in BRST quantization scheme with the generalized Lorenz gauge condition.

We examine thermodynamically an extra driving term for the flat universe by applying Sharma Mittal entropy to Padmanabhan’s holographic equipartition law. Deviations from the Bekenstein–Hawking entropy by using this law, we generate an extra driving in the acceleration equation. By using the constant and parametrized equation of state parameter, we investigate the different cosmological parameters like deceleration parameter, squared speed of sound, Om-diagnostic and statefinder parameter through graphical approach. We observe compatible results with current observational data in both models. Generalized second law of thermodynamics also remains valid in both cases.

Large-scale distributed computing infrastructures ensure the operation and maintenance of scientific experiments at the LHC: more than 160 computing centers all over the world execute tens of millions of computing jobs per day. ATLAS — the largest experiment at the LHC — creates an enormous flow of data which has to be recorded and analyzed by a complex heterogeneous and distributed computing environment. Statistically, about 10–12% of computing jobs end with a failure: network faults, service failures, authorization failures, and other error conditions trigger error messages which provide detailed information about the issue, which can be used for diagnosis and proactive fault handling. However, this analysis is complicated by the sheer scale of textual log data, and often exacerbated by the lack of a well-defined structure: human experts have to interpret the detected messages and create parsing rules manually, which is time-consuming and does not allow identifying previously unknown error conditions without further human intervention. This paper is dedicated to the description of a pipeline of methods for the unsupervised clustering of multi-source error messages. The pipeline is data-driven, based on machine learning algorithms, and executed fully automatically, allowing categorizing error messages according to textual patterns and meaning.

In this paper, we study the scalar-diquark–scalar-diquark–antiquark-type $udsc\bar{c}$ pentaquark state with the QCD sum rules, the predicted mass $M_P=4.47\pm 0.11\mathrm{\text{GeV}}$ is in excellent agreement with the experimental data $4458.8\pm 2.9_{-1.1}^{+4.7}\mathrm{\text{MeV}}$ from the LHCb collaboration, and supports assigning the $P_{cs}(4459)$ to be the hidden-charm pentaquark state with the spin-parity $J^P={\frac{1}{2}}^{-}$. We take into account the flavor $SU(3)$ mass-breaking effect, and estimate the mass spectrum of the diquark–diquark–antiquark-type $udsc\bar{c}$ pentaquark states with the strangeness $S=-1$.

In this study, a new equation of motion of a spinning charged test particle is examined. This equation is a counterpart of Papapetrou equations in Riemannian geometry when the charge of the particle disappears. By using the Lagrangian approach, the equation of motion of the spinning charged particle is derived. Furthermore, the path deviation of the spinning charged particle is achieved by the same Lagrangian function. The equation of motion of the spinning charged test particle, in the Reissner–Nordström background is entirely solved. The stability criteria of the spinning motion of the charge test particle are discussed. The Perihelion advance and trajectory of a spinning charged test particle, in the Reissner–Nordström space–time, is scrutinized along with two different methods; the first is the perturbation method (Einstein’s method) and the second is described by Kerner et al.${}^{14}$ Moreover, the effect of charge and spin on Perihelion advance are inspected. Additionally, the existing results are matched with the previously cited works. Finally, applications to the Earth’s orbit are also analyzed.

The nature of gravity and its strength compared with other forces are fundamental challenges faced by the actual science. A path to understand the hierarchy problem of gravity consists in adding an extra dimension to Einstein–Hilbert’s general relativity. Therefore, gravity would be the only force leaking through this region of space–time also known as brane. Despite the success of the mathematical description for the hierarchy issue through simple thin branes, it is also possible to derive a consistent theory of gravity using thick branes. This work unveils a new procedure to determine analytic hybrid thick braneworld models. The discussions were based on the so-called Bloch branes, which are constructed via a two-field model coupled with gravity in five-dimensional space–time. Both fields used to build the Bloch branes depend only on the extra dimension, and the hybrid branes present internal structure, characterizing them as thick. In this work, we were able to derive new analytic thick brane models by using the extension method. Some of these new branes present a Minkowski space–time immersed inside of the fifth dimension. We showed how the symmetry of the emergent branes can be controlled via specific parameters. We also analyzed the stability conditions for each braneworld family, showing possible stable states for gravitons.
