The opportunity to accommodate three flavors of sterile neutrinos exists within the exceptional group E₆. Implications of this description are discussed.

In this paper, we study the gauge invariance of the third quantized supergroup field cosmology which is a model for multiverse. Further, we propose both the infinitesimal (usual) as well as the finite superfield-dependent BRST symmetry transformations which leave the effective theory invariant. The effects of finite superfield-dependent BRST transformations on the path integral (so-called void functional in the case of third quantization) are implemented. Within the finite superfield-dependent BRST formulation, the finite superfield-dependent BRST transformations with specific parameter switch the void functional from one gauge to another. We establish this result for the most general gauge with the help of explicit calculations which holds for all possible sets of gauge choices at both the classical and the quantum levels.

We discuss the shape of the interaction region of the elastically scattered protons stipulated by the high-energy Pomeron exchange which turns out to be very similar with the shape of the static string representing the confining QCD flux tube. This similarity disappears when we enter the LHC energy region, which corresponds to many-Pomeron exchanges. Reversing the argument we conjecture a modified relationship between the width and the length of the confining string at very large lengths.

The structure of the B–L minimal supersymmetric Standard Model (MSSM) theory — specifically, the relevant mass scales and soft supersymmetric breaking parameters — is discussed. The space of initial soft parameters is explored at the high scale using random statistical sampling subject to a constraint on the range of dimensionful parameters. For every chosen initial point, the complete set of renormalization group equations is solved. The low energy results are then constrained to be consistent with present experimental data. It is shown that a large set of initial conditions satisfy these constraints and lead to acceptable low energy particle physics. Each such initial point has explicit predictions, such as the exact physical sparticle spectrum which is presented for two such points. There are also statistical predictions for the masses of the sparticles and the LSP species which are displayed as histograms. Finally, the fine-tuning of the μ parameter — which is always equivalent to or smaller than in the MSSM — is discussed.

In this paper, the advantages of pion versus kaon interferometry as a measure to probe the degree of source coherence are studied by a expanding boson gas model with a harmonic oscillator potential. We investigate the conditions about occurrence of Bose–Einstein condensation and analyze its impacts on the chaotic parameter λ. The results indicate that this finite condensation for pion system decreases the value of λ, but influence slightly for kaon system.

By using a solution ansatz we partially decouple the metric and the Stückelberg sectors of the minimal massive gravity (MMGR). In this scheme for a diagonal physical metric we find the general solutions for the scalars of the theory and the particular fiducial (background) metric which leads to these solutions. Then we adopt this general formalism to construct the derivation of new Friedmann–Lemaitre–Robertson–Walker (FLRW) cosmologies of the theory in the presence of a so-called effective ideal fluid which arises from our solution ansatz as a modifying, non-physical source for the Einstein and the corresponding Friedmann equations.

An extension of the Standard Model (SM) is studied, in which two new vector bosons are introduced, a first boson Z' coupled to the SM by the usual minimal coupling, producing an enlarged gauge sector in the SM. The second boson A' field, in the dark sector of the model, remains massless and originates a dark photon γ'. A hybrid mixing scenario is considered based on a combined Higgs and Stueckelberg mechanisms. In a Compton-like process, a photon scattered by a weakly interacting massive particles (WIMP) is converted into a dark photon. This process is studied, in an astrophysical application obtaining an estimate of the impact on stellar cooling of white dwarfs and neutron stars.
