I give a brief review of theoretical high energy physics as we know it today in the general picture of quantum physics. Prospects for future developments are outlined.

Here, we consider axially symmetric, stationary, rotating and charged Kerr–Sen Dilaton-Axion black hole as particle accelerator. We find the effective potential and discuss the circular orbit of a particle. We investigate the center of mass energy of two colliding neutral particles with different rest masses falling from rest at infinity to near the non-extremal horizons (event horizon and Cauchy horizon) and extremal horizon of the Kerr–Sen Dilaton-Axion black hole. Analogous to the Compton process, we discuss the collision of a particle and a massless photon. Finally, we find the center of mass energy due to the collision of two photons in the background of Kerr–Sen Dilaton-Axion black hole.

Employing a pseudo-orthonormal coordinate-free approach, we write down the Dirac equation in spacetimes with static general prolate metrics. As examples, we consider the electrically charged C-metric, the vacuum C-metric, the Reissner–Nordström and Schwarzschild spacetimes and the BBMB black hole and show that the solutions to the Dirac equations for particles in these spacetimes can be derived in terms of Heun’s general functions and their confluent and double confluent forms. By imposing boundary conditions to the radial solutions, the so-called resonant frequencies are obtained.

In this paper, we consider the five-dimensional Myers–Perry black hole solution to study the thermodynamic properties and compare this with the thermodynamic behaviors of generalized uncertainty principle (GUP)-induced Myers–Perry solution. We study the existence of remnant quantities. Stability criteria are studied by observing the natures of temperature growth and sign changes in specific heat. We try to locate phase transitions. Moreover, we study the corresponding physical range for the GUP parameter and try to justify the value with the data predicted by different observations.

There are some particle physics theories that go beyond the so-called “standard cosmological model” to predict the existence of magnetic monopoles (MMs). The discovery of MMs would be an incredible breakthrough in high-energy physics. The existence of MMs in the early Universe has been speculated and anticipated from Grand Unified Theory. If MMs exist, the inverse powers of the unification mass will not suppress the baryon number violating effects of grand unified gauge theories. Therefore, MM catalyzing nucleon decay is a typical strong interaction. This phenomenon is due to the boundary conditions that must be imposed on the core of MM fermion fields. We present a possible mechanism to explain the formation of the Hot Big Bang Cosmology. The main ingredient in our model is nucleon decay catalyzed by MMs (i.e. the Rubakov–Callan effect). It is shown that Hot Big Bang developed naturally because the luminosity due to the Rubakov–Callan effect is much greater than the Eddington luminosity (i.e. $L_m>10^4{L}_{\mathrm{\text{Edd}}}$).

The cosmological solutions of the non-minimal $Y(R)F^2$ theory, which are compatible with FRW spacetime, are investigated. In order to avoid the isotropy violation of a vector field, it can be considered that the presence of a triplet of vector fields satisfy SO(3) symmetry or the average of randomly oriented electromagnetic fields over the sufficiently large volume. By considering the symmetry arguments, the inflation driven by the non-minimally coupled vector fields is studied. Then the cosmological solutions and corresponding models are obtained with the power-law, hyperbolic and hybrid scale functions.

In this paper, we have investigated the classical tests of General Relativity like precession of perihelion, deflection of light and time delay by considering a phenomenological astrophysical object like Sun, as a neutral regular Hayward black hole in Rastall gravity. We have tabulated all our results for some appropriate values of the parameter $\sigma$. We have compared our values with $\sigma =0$, which corresponds to the Schwarzschild case. Also the value of $\sigma =0.7187\times 10^{-4}$ is of particular interest as it gives some promising results.

In this study, we explore the spherically symmetric static wormhole solutions in the Rastall modified theory of gravity. For this, we consider the anisotropic fluid distribution to construct the field equations for Rastall background. Further, we calculate the matter density function and pressure components for anisotropic fluid from the field equations. Furthermore, we employ the traceless fluid by using a particular equation of state (EoS) to analyze the necessary properties of shape function for wormholes and behavior of energy bounds. However, the major purpose of this study is to acquire the wormhole solutions for traceless fluid in the Rastall background. Moreover, we examine the stability of different forces acting on the system. At the end, it is concluded that our solutions under this current scenario are physically acceptable.

In this paper, we investigate the Duffin–Kemmer–Petiau (DKP) equation for spin-0 system of charge-free particles in the background of a flat class of Gödel-type spacetimes, and evaluate the individual energy levels and corresponding wave functions in detail.

With the aid of the planar dynamical systems and invariant algebraic cure, all algebraic traveling wave solutions for two extended (2 + 1)-dimensional Kadomtsev–Petviashvili equations, which can be used to model shallow water waves with weakly nonlinear restoring forces and to describe waves in ferromagnetic media, were obtained. Meanwhile, some new rational solutions are also yielded through an invariant algebraic cure with two different traveling wave transformations for the first time. These results are an effective complement to existing knowledge. It can help us understand the mechanism of shallow water waves more deeply.

In this work, we present the information theoretic lengths given by Shannon and Fisher for the lowest-lying stationary state of a one-dimensional ionic crystal modeled by $2N+1$ equally spaced attractive and repulsive Dirac delta potentials. The entropic uncertainty relations related to position and momentum spaces are studied as a function of the number of ions and the distance between them. Our results show that the stability of the ionic crystal depends on the number of ions and distance between them. In particular, we show that the position Shannon entropy is always positive and increases as the lattice constant between ions grows, in contrast with the momentum Shannon entropy which decreases and becomes negative beyond a particular lattice constant value.
