This is the first book that presents the theory of stochastic integral using the generalized Riemann approach. Readers who are familiar with undergraduate calculus and want to have an easy access to the theory of stochastic integral will find most of this book pleasantly readable, especially the first four chapters. The references to the theory of classical stochastic integral and stochastic processes are also included for the convenience of readers who are familiar with the measure theoretic approach.

Varayu Boonpogkrong is an Associate Professor of Mathematics at Prince of Songkla University, where he has been a faculty member in the Faculty of Sciences since 2007. He completed his undergraduate studies at Chulalongkorn University (CU) in Thailand, and obtained his MSc and PhD in Mathematics from the National University of Singapore (NUS), focusing on Henstock Integration Theory. He has continued to contribute to the field, particularly in Henstock–Kurzweil integration theory. He has held various administrative roles within the university, including Deputy Head of the Mathematics and Statistics department in the Faculty of Sciences, Chair of the Master of Science in Mathematics program committee, President of the Faculty Senate at Prince of Songkla University's Hat-Yai campus, and Assistant President for Human Resources Systems at the university.
Prof Tuan Seng Chew retires from the Department of Mathematics, NUS in July 2017 after a fulfilling career spanning 35 years. He has been a part-time lecturer since 2017. His research focuses on Henstock–Kurzweil integrals and stochastic integrals and continues to publish.
Tin Lam Toh is an Associate Professor of mathematics & mathematics education at the National Institute of Education, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. He obtained his PhD in Mathematics from the National University of Singapore on Henstock integration. After that, he continued to publish in Henstock integration theory focusing on stochastic integral and expands his research to include mathematics education. He is now the Head of the Mathematics & Mathematics Education Department in the Institute.
