Stanley Crossick is the founding chairman of the European Policy Center, a Brussels–based, pro–active, multi-stakeholder think–tank, with some 400 organizational members. He has authored over 200 papers and books and delivered over 350 lectures and speeches, and is a frequent media commentator on EU issues. He is also Senior Adviser on China to the European Institute for Asian Studies (Brussels) and Conseiller to the Fondation pour l'Innovation Politique (Paris).
An English solicitor, he has worked for European integration since 1967 and has held various professional and political appointments, including President of the European Liberal Professions, Deputy Secretary-General of the EU Bar Association, Secretary-General of the International Union of Lawyers, Founding Secretary of the Law Society's Solicitors European Group, Member of the British Council of the European Movement and Senior Vice–Chairman of the AmCham EU Committee.
