Dr Cuong Nguyen is a Senior Lecturer in Finance at Lincoln University, New Zealand, and recipient of the Australian Leadership Awards. He also is a research fellow for "Stochastics with Emphasis on Finance" at the Austrian Academy of Sciences-OAW and Johann Radon Institute for Computational and Applied Mathematics RICAM and for "Risk Theory and Related Topics" at the European Mathematical Society and Institute of Mathematics Polish Academy of Sciences-IMPAN, Poland 2008. He is a Certified Practicing Accountant – CPA Australia and a Chartered Accountant – Australia and New Zealand – CA ANZ holder. His research interests include financial econometrics and financial markets. Dr Nguyen's work appeared in the Journal of International Financial Markets, Institutions, and Money, International Review of Economics and Finance, Economic Modelling, Global Journal Finance, International Review of Financial Analysis and Finance Research Letters, among others.
Dr Khanh Hoang is a Senior Lecturer in Finance at Lincoln University, New Zealand. He also served as a lecturer at New Zealand College of Business, Canterbury, New Zealand. He has been active in research and academic activities. His research interests lie primarily in corporate finance, climate finance, corporate social responsibility, economic uncertainty, and financial economics. His current research projects aim to investigate how international climate policy influences corporate decision-making. Dr Hoang has published his research works in prestigious international academic journals, including International Review of Economics and Finance, Finance Research Letters, Journal of Behavioral and Experimental Finance, International Journal of Emerging Markets, Applied Economics Letters, Managerial and Decision Economics, among others. He also serves as a Guest Editor of the Special Issue "A new era of financial risk" for Research in International Business and Finance (Elsevier). He has been a member of organizing committees of national and international academic conferences in Vietnam. Besides academic experience, he also has industry experience in financial consulting and investment analysis at different institutions in Vietnam.
Professor Christopher Gan is Head of Department, Department of Financial and Business Systems, Faculty of Agribusiness & Commerce, Lincoln University, Christchurch, New Zealand. He is recognized internationally for research leadership in banking, microfinance, stock markets, and Asian financial economics. His approach is quantitative in nature with an applied focus. He aims to expand existing knowledge and develop recommendations for relevant agencies, governments, and businesses. This includes studies of the Asian financial markets, the banking system in China, and rural credit and microfinance in Asia. Prof. Gan actively collaborates with academics from other universities (mainly from Asia) and inspires the next young generation of scholars through postgraduate supervision. He has an extensive publication record in well-ranked peer-reviewed journals and is regularly cited by other researchers. He serves on editorial boards of several distinguished international journals and is the chief editor of the Review of Applied Economics. He also has won several awards for excellence in teaching, including the National Teaching Excellence Award in 2003.
Prof. Gan is the Minjiang Scholar, Distinguished Professor in the College of Economics and Finance at Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University (awarded by the Education Department of Fujian Province government. He is also the Adjunct Professor, Finance and Economics at the Faculty of Economics & Business, Universitas Airlangga, Surabaya, Indonesia, and the Visiting Professor at the International Department, Chonnam National University, Gwangju, South Korea.
