    Abstract:

Entrepreneurship is a major driver of development, especially in developing countries such as the countries of North Africa. In this chapter, we will study women entrepreneurship in Tunisia. We have tried to paint a fair picture of the main transformations that the Tunisian economy and society have witnessed, starting with the end of French colonialism. We also discussed the evolution of the concept of female entrepreneurship in Tunisia and reviewed the most important elements of the support given to entrepreneurs and the extent of its suitability, especially for businesswomen. Finally, the future of women entrepreneurship in Tunisia was discussed.
